The Toothbrush and the Toilet Seat
Or the romancing of lovesick lavatory appliances
by Tiky and Bernie

The toothbrush and the toilet seat
Marched to quite a different beat
Two bathroom dwellers; different but in love
Everybody disagreed
This was peculiar, strange indeed
But they knew this was a match sent from above.

Alas, fate had a different plan
The house’s little toddler, Jen
Wasn’t quite as adept and dexterous
The poor toothbrush fell in the bowl
And got flushed down the potty hole
The seat wept, for this was indeed … disastrous.

Out of heartbreak, he split in two
Because of his defect, they threw him away
But fate had them meet each other once more
In a huge rubbish dump that lay offshore
And they remained together, up till today.
